ENG Habitare and in particular the Trash Design exhibition is one of Recyclie's favorite things to do in September. At this year's Habitare, I especially enjoyed the May Day competition entries in which the designers had devised and implemented ideas for structures and objects needed at a summer picnic or day trip.
It was wonderful to see how the small exhibition-goers brought each shortlisted canopy to life! In addition, I spotted five chairs and five lamps made of recycled materials.

"Havina" by Samuli Helavuo was inspired by the sound of warm summer winds and the swish of leaves in the trees.

I went to Habitare with my Mom, and she thought this seat (actually a combination of an Artek classic and a small pallet) looked like something coming out of a Finnish sauna...
