ENG Hurrah! Vintage Home (originally published by Kyle Books), that I translated into Finnish this Spring, has just come out of the oven!
Yesterday I received a few books in the mail (just love the smell and texture of new books), and can now be inspired by Sarah Moore's colorful world myself... Nothing is put to waste: small paraphernalia is collected into an abacus or a mobile for children, broken porcelain pitchers can continue as bookends when filled with gypsum, and odd pieces of wallpaper make up a patchwork! There are also some recipes, and I definitely want to try the exciting pot breads!

Sarah Moore also talks about sourcing vintage in her book – that's filled with wonderful pictures. This one reminds me of my granny Ida Ester (see her initials at the end of my blogs's name?) and her enamel pots. ⎮ Sarah Moore puhuu myös vintagen ostamisesta ja ostopaikoista kirjassaan – joka on täynnä ihania kuvia. Tämä muistuttaa minua mummostani Ida Esteristä (näetkö hänen nimikirjaimensa blogini nimen lopussa?) ja hänen emalikattiloistaan.
FIN Hurraa! Keväällä suomentamani Viehättävä vintage-koti on juuri tullut uunista ulos!
Sain eilen muutamia kirjoja postissa – kuinka hyvälle uudet kirjat tuoksuvatkaan ja kuinka ihanalta kirjan eläväpintainen takakansi tuntuu käsissä –, ja nyt voin itsekin inspiroitua Sarah Mooren värikkäästä maailmasta... Mitään ei heitetä hukkaan: pikkutilpehööri kerätään lasten mobileen tai helmitauluun, rikkinäisetkin posliinikannut voivat jatkaa kirjatukina, kun niihin valetaan sisälle paino, ja tapetinpaloista tulee tilkkutyötapetti! Muutama ruokaohjekin löytyy: haluan ehdottomasti kokeilla jännittäviä leipiä, jotka paistetaan kukkaruukussa!

ITA Evviva! Vintage Home (originariamente pubblicato da Kyle Books), che ho tradotto in finlandese questa primavera, è appena stato sfornato!
Ieri ho ricevuto un paio di libri nella posta (adoro il profumo e la consistenza dei libri nuovi), e ora anch'io posso ispirarmi al mondo pieno di colori di Sarah Moore... Nulla si spreca: la chincaglieria è appesa ad un abaco o un mobile per bambini, brocche di porcellana rotte possono continuare ad esistere come fermalibri una volta riempite di gesso, e pezzi dispari di carta da parati compongono un mosaico! Ci sono anche alcune ricette, e voglio assolutamente provare a fare pane nei vasi di terracotta!
