ENG Did you know the origin of the word Lego (|ˈlegō|, noun, trademark), "a construction toy consisting of interlocking plastic building blocks"? It's from the 1950s and the Danish words leg godt ‘play well’ (from lege ‘to play’). (Source: New Oxford American Dictionary) – Couldn't help the little linguist in me!
